Recipe Week! Part 2

Two posts in one day? What can I say, these recipes deserve posts for themselves.

Sesame Buttered Broccoli

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb fresh broccoli
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seed
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions:

1. Remove florets from broccoli. Cut stalks into pieces, discarding any leaves.

2. In 2-quart saucepan, heat 1 cup water to boiling. Add broccoli; return to boiling. Boil uncovered 4 to 6 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain well. Return broccoli to saucepan; cover to keep warm.

3. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

4. Pour over broccoli; toss to coat.

I served mine with a crumb-crusted tilapia. It was a quick, healthy and tasty meal. And the broccoli could easily go with all kinds of different dishes. I'll definitely be using this recipe again!
